Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19): Important Tips!
As WHO has declared it a pandemic, Novel Coronavirus or COVID-19 is something we are all aware of, as we sit in our homes, either to avoid getting infected or to avoid infecting others. Now, no need to panic if you think you are infected, because about 20,000 people have died of corona virus. And more than 1,10,000 people have recovered from it.
But the novel coronavirus, now known as SARS-CoV-2 (Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome) is said to emerge from a bat borne virus. The novel coronavirus is a bit different from the previous one.
Usual symptoms of COVID-19 are high fever, dry cough, headache or fatigue. As you can see, some symptoms are that of the flu or the usual cold. But danger of coronavirus is that, instead of becoming better, your health conditions might deteriorate and get severe.
Novel coronavirus or SARS-CoV-2 has been researched on to find that it can be transmitted from one person to another, usually by respiratory droplets. So try to maintain a distance of 2 meters wherever you go, and spread awareness of this information with the people around you. You won’t be just protecting them, you’d be protecting yourself too.
But prevention is better than cure, as they say. So you must absolutely be careful about going outside, being in crowds, hygiene, and most importantly, washing hands to prevent coronavirus.
Keep on washing your hands for at least 20 seconds, after an interval of one and a half hour or so. This will help you keep yourself clean.
N.B. Remember to keep your hands away from your face, and wear disposable masks.
If you’re already infected with coronavirus, keep yourself isolated in a room. And keep cleaning the house, including the room you’re staying in, regularly.
It seems as though coronavirus or COVID-19 is here to teach us how to be clean. Clean your phones with wet wipes and appropriate solutions. Clean the doorknobs, refrigerators, switches carefully. Live hygienically.
So, take care of yourself, get treatment, drink lots of tea. Hopefully, you’ll get better if you’re infected, and recover from coronavirus. If you’re not, know everything you can about the novel coronavirus or SARS-CoV-2, for you have all the time in the world to keep yourself safe.
